Hard filters
A school must offer a selected major, sit in a selected state, and match a selected size band — or it is out.

Academic rank
GPA and SAT/ACT (with concordance if the scales differ) are the primary ranking factor. Default weight: 65%.

Athletic + division
Stats are scored against division-level placeholders. Preferred divisions get a boost, but D1 is never hard-excluded.
